Marsden March 2017 update and looking forward to 2018

Hey all,

This post is long overdue and it’s taken a nudge to register for next year for me to do it!

Firstly – An update on 2017

Last year we completed the full 14-mile Marsden March in a little under 4.5 hours. It was a great day out and great fun.

In total, Emma and I raised £230 each, with Emma’s work matching her donations, taking us to £690 as a team!

None of this was possible without your charitable donations and we can’t thank you enough for what you’ve given.

And now, your reward, PICTURES!!!

Looking forward to next year

We’ve both now signed up for the March again next year, and managed to rope in Emma’s brother Alex and his girlfriend Helen for extra company! We’ll all be marching under the team….

Cirque de Sore Legs 2018!

Our Story

Like many people, we’ve both been affected by Cancer. As with last year, we are completing this walk to support the Hospitals who’ve treated (and continue to treat) many family members and friends.

Supporting Us

If you can spare any money at all, you can find our Just Giving team page here, and any donations, no matter the size, are appreciated. Feel free to pick your favourite team member 😉

We’re currently waiting on further details but this year’s March will be on Sunday 4th March 2018

Thanks again! 🙂

Charity Fundraising!

Hey All,

Emma and I have both signed up to The Marsden March next month. The March is a 14-mile walk from the The Royal Marsden hospital in Chelsea (London) to The Royal Marsden hospital in Sutton. The Royal Marsden’s hospitals specialise in working on the diagnosing, and treating all forms of Cancer, as well as the care of patients who suffer from Cancer.

Our Story

Like many people, we’ve both been affected by Cancer. We are completing this walk to support the Hospitals who’ve treated (and continue to treat) many family members and friends.

Supporting Us

If you can spare any money at all, you can find our Just Giving pages here, and any donations, no matter the size, are appreciated.

If you want to watch us (struggle), the walk itself takes place on Sunday 19th March with us starting at 8:45am. You can watch / cheer us on from the following locations:

  • Wimbledon Common, near the windmill
  • King George’s Playing Fields
  • Nonsuch Park, at Nonsuch Mansion
  • The finishing line at The Royal Marsden’s hospital in Sutton

We look forward to seeing you there!
